Good morning!
This is MY day! There are many like it, but this day is MINE. This is the first day of the rest of MY life. I must master this day to master my life. Without me my day is useless. Without my day, I am useless.
I must infuse my day with truth & faith. I must use those tools to overcome the enemy who is trying to distract me. I must overcome procrastination & laziness before it overcomes me. I will.
My day and I know that what counts in success is not the wishes for change, the noise of our announcements of change, or the smoke and mirrors we make to look like change. We know that it is actual CHANGE that counts We will change…starting TODAY!
My day is human, even as I am human, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn the weaknesses of my day, as well as its strengths, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its sounds. I will keep my day clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other.
Before God I swear this creed. My day and I are the defenders of my legacy. We are the masters of all enemies. We are the saviors of my tomorrow.
So be it, until the day I stand in victory and there is no enemy to my day left…
