How many times have you walked away from a conversation or an interaction and thought of something you should have said? Or what about the time you chose to ‘shoot from the hip’ and wound up shooting yourself in the foot? Thinking on your feet is a skill you can learn, hone and master to help you become comfortable and confident in any situation. This program will show you how express yourself professionally under any circumstance whether it’s one-on-one, in a meeting, on the phone, at a social function or during a presentation. Learn ways to stay calm and focused; employ tactics that buy you time; organize your thoughts quickly in impromptu situations; move gracefully from topic to topic; respond to any type of question; handle surprises with aplomb; make the most of a difficult situation and come out standing firmly on your feet.

  • Establish a plan to help you work through a stressful situation
  • Avoid being ‘triggered’ – tips to keep your emotions in check
  • Use body language to convey confidence
  • Stay sure-footed when you’re taken by surprise
  • Eliminate being at a loss for words

  • Develop ways to organize your thoughts quickly
